Biography:

Volkov Alexander Vasilievich, was born in Yeisk in 1968. In 1995 he graduated from the Kuban State Medical Institute, specializing in medical treatment with honors.

In 1995 – entered the clinical residency in traumatology and orthopedics on the basis of the Kuban State Medical Institute, graduated with honors in 1997.

Since 1997 he has been working as a physician as a traumatologist in the city hospital No. 3 in Krasnodar, in 1999 he specialized in arthroscopy of large joints in Moscow, since 2000. Work experience is common – 20 years.

Member of the Russian Arthroscopic Society since 1999.

Since 1999 he has been working on the topic “Prevention and treatment of arterio-mesenteric obstruction of the duodenum in patients after surgical correction of kyphoscoliotic deformations of the spine”, on this topic he defended his thesis of the candidate of medical sciences in 2004 at the Rostov State Medical University.

In extramural postgraduate study he studied from 2000 to 2004 in the Kuban Medical State University. Since 2005 – Associate Professor of Surgery Department No. 1 of the Faculty of Postgraduate Training of Physicians of the Kuban State Medical University. General scientific and pedagogical experience of work – 16 years.
